Lil' Bit, the kitten we took to Texas in December, has settled into her new home and made a new friend. Chaka, Pit Bull mix, who is about the same age as Lil' Bit, and the kitten have become fast friends. They play well together and spend a lot of time sleeping by each other.

over the past couple of weeks Mama Stormy has proven to be an attentive and protective mother, refusing to go outside for as long as she can hold her bladder. yesterday one of the kittens emerged from hiding, eyes open and no visible tail. contrary to previous reports there are three healthy babies in this litter.still no pictures, but once all the kittens emerge from hiding we'll take some.

On February 19th Mama Smokey had her second litter of kittens, five in all. Sadly one of them didn't survive and died 2 weeks later.
